Two men charged with the shotgun robbery of an Auckland bank have been remanded in custody to appear in court again on Monday.
The men, aged 20 and 32, were also granted interim name suppression until their next appearance when they briefly appeared in the Auckland District Court today.
They were charged after three men burst into the ASB Bank in Royal Oak just before 3pm yesterday and fled with cash.
The third man was still being sought by police.
Today a duty solicitor asked for the men's names to be suppressed until their next appearance, saying the charges had just been laid.
She said one of the men had a young son and the other lived with his father and they had not been told of the charges
One of the men hopped into court on one leg.
No pleas were entered.
