A man who has pleaded guilty to being accessory after the fact of the murder of Wellington man Tony Stanlake will be sentenced later this month.
Peter George Leach, 21, a butcher from Miramar, will be sentenced on October 27 in the High Court at Wellington.
Mr Stanlake's handless and mutilated body was found at Owhiro Bay on Wellington's south coast on July 9.
Justice Warwick Gendall today remanded Leach in custody to appear for sentencing on October 27.
Leach's lawyer Keith Jefferies applied for an order suppressing publication of the summary of facts relating to the case and this was granted on an interim basis, to be addressed again at sentencing.
Daniel Robert Moore, 21, of Lower Hutt, has been charged with Mr Stanlake's murder but plans to defend the charges against him.
