ACC levy cuts worth more than half a billion dollars have officially become law.
Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae today signed off on the reductions, which were confirmed last October and will save households and businesses $587 million a year.
From April 1, the Earners' Account Levy, which is paid by wage and salary earners will decrease from $2.04 to $1.70, and the average Work Account Levy, paid by employers, will decrease from $1.47 to $1.15 per $100 of liable earnings.
