The amount the Accident Compensation Corporation takes from pay packets looks set to rise.
Details have been released in official ministerial briefing papers.
Currently workers pay $1.30 ACC levy per $100 they earn. That is set to rise by 10 cents next year. In 2010 the figure will be $1.50 and $1.60 in 2013. Motor vehicle levies will also increase.
ACC cites rising medical and rehabilitation costs as the reasons for the rises.
