Veteran All Black hooker Andrew Hore, who confirmed he has had his last game in black, was one of a handful of the all-conquering rugby players to fly into Auckland yesterday.
Hore, whose travel companions from Europe included Tony Woodcock, Tawera Kerr-Barlow and Ben and Owen Franks, was greeted by his fiancee and baby boy.
On his arrival, Hore confirmed his retirement from the All Blacks after more than 10 years with the squad. He said the final game, a last-gasp victory over the Irish, was "pretty special" and an appropriate finish to his career.
"I don't think I'll put on the All Blacks jersey again," he said.
"I've had a good run and hopefully I'll get home and make a good fist of my next job, which is going to be a farmer."
