A girl under the age of five was taken to Hawke’s Bay Hospital in serious condition after a crash between a vehicle and a person in Greenmeadows, Napier, a police spokesperson said.
Emergency services were called to an incident on Bowling Rd and Osier Rd at 8.22am on Tuesday.
Hato Hone St John said the patient was assessed and transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
A Hawke’s Bay Hospital spokesperson said the girl was still being assessed but in a stable condition.
Bowling Rd was reopened at 10.40am after emergency services attended the scene.
