Shanti Freed is immersed inside a dazzling maze of winding paths and soaring domes which make up the Arboria forest installation in Auckland's Aotea Square.
The interactive exhibit is described as a "monumental inflatable structure" which has astounded audiences around the world.
"Escape the city for the calm of the forest," a blurb on the installation says. "Arboria celebrates the patterns and forms of the forest, with luminous trunks, leaves and branches that stretch overhead, and a sound-experience originated in the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest."
Created by Alan Parkinson of the world-renowned Architects of Air, the experience has already been viewed by more than three million visitors worldwide and has now arrived in New Zealand after touring Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
Single tickets are $12 or $10 each for a family of four or more.
