Her English isn't that great but her love of performing is evident every time she gets in the ring, Zirka media spokeswoman Jan Burnell said.
Both girls are part of 14 acts in the circus, which heads to Nelson on Guy Fawkes Night.
They left China a year ago to join the circus.
The girls train every morning and spend free time in the afternoons exploring the area where they are parked up.
"Jade just loves being in her act and with the others. She has spent years training her body and strengthening her muscles."
Circus life offered the performers a different culture, Mrs Burnell said.
"They get to see another country and how people live in other countries."
The group of 18 circus performers - aged between 13 and 22 - were a close bunch, Mrs Burnell said.
"They really look after each other. Especially the boys who look after the younger ones ... they are always laughing and smiling - so they must be very happy. It's a good life for them."
It can be a prosperous life too - one of the team has just bought a home for his parents back in China, she said.
As for animals - there isn't a place for them in this circus.
"People just don't like seeing animals performing any more. It's much more skilled with quality performers today."
