John Key may have been working through some serious issues at the Pacific Islands Forum in Cairns recently, but he wasn't working too hard.
Key has appeared in a YouTube video watching an AFL football game beside Kevin Rudd and Sir Michael Thomas Somare. Wearing a blue shirt and sipping a beer, Key lets Rudd do the talking while he enjoys the game.
Ever the diplomat, Kevin Rudd backed the Pacific team to win against North Queensland, while his neighbour, the Chief Minister of Papua New Guinea, hedged his bets.
Rudd also put up a good argument for why the three were not shirking their duties. "We've also been talking to all these young indigenous leaders over here and they're a lot of fun."
