A flight with 38 passengers and three crew was diverted due to a possible engine issue this morning.
Air Nelson flight NZ8074 from Invercargill to Wellington was diverted to Christchurch today.
"The Q300 aircraft landed in Christchurch without further incident and is now being checked by engineers," an airline spokeswoman said.
"There were 38 passengers and three crew on board. The passengers are being [accommodated] on other services."
Police and the Fire Service were called out to Christchurch Airport as a precaution this morning.
