A 75-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital after she was injured by a cow earlier today.
The woman received leg and facial injuries after the run-in at Wallingford in the Hawkes Bay at 3pm.
She was flown by the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter to Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital for further treatment.
Earlier this year, farmer Wayne Rowe, 50, was ear-tagging a cow in a paddock when it turned on him and pushed him to the ground in the Bay of Plenty town of Opotiki.
Mr Rowe was airlifted to hospital with serious chest injuries, but was released a day later.
