A seven-year-old boy was flown to hospital after a car crash on a Northland beach tonight.
An ambulance spokeswoman said a helicopter ferried the child from Pouto on the northern point of the Kaipara Harbour to Auckland's Starship Children's Hospital.
There were no details about how many people were in the vehicle when it crashed when it crashed about 6.30pm.
Just two weeks ago four people died when their vehicle rolled on Muriwai Beach, west of Auckland.
