More than 65,000 people visited the Ellerslie Flower Show, which finished yesterday.
Managing director Dave Mee said uncertainty about the venue's future seemed to motivate more Aucklanders to attend.
Organisers are considering whether to keep the show at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens in Manurewa or move it to Hamilton or Christchurch.
Mr Mee said the show had a huge following and he planned to "build on that and keep exciting the public in future years".
