Oil industry minnow Gull is set to spark another fuel price discounting battle this morning, with a 5c-a-litre cut to petrol and diesel for 12 hours from 7am, to encourage motorists to fill up for the school holidays.
Prices have been stable for most of this month, since BP led industry-wide cuts over three successive weekends, seizing Gull's previous title of discount king.
