KEY POINTS:
A Hawkes Bay businessman has appeared in the Hamilton District Court on fraud and forgery charges involving $4 million. Blair John Fitzsimons entered no plea and was remanded on bail to appear in the Napier District Court next month. Fitzsimons, from Havelock North, was part owner of Xpress Vehicle Rentals and a former sponsor of the Taranaki rugby team.
