A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has been felt in Hastings and Napier this morning, Geonet reports.
The quake struck at 3.51am and was centred 30 km south of Hastings, at a depth of 30km.
Geonet received reports the tremor was felt both in Hastings and Napier, and as far south as Waitahora.
