4.0 quake hits Napier

A quake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale was felt across Napier last night.

The quake struck at 11.49pm, 20km south east of Napier and had a focal depth of 30km.

According to the GNS website, the quake was felt throughout Napier with 93 homes and businesses reporting the quake by 8.30am today.
