28-year-old critical after Christchurch crash

A 28-year-old foreign student is in a critical condition in Christchurch Hospital intensive care unit after a crash in Riccarton last night.

Police said the student was riding a bicycle west along Blenheim Road and turned right into Hansens Lane and collided with a vehicle travelling east along Blenheim Rd at 6.30pm.

Any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact Constable Grant Cowan at the Christchurch South Police on 363 2553.
