A "sloppy" rugby club administrator who appeared to help herself to drinks has been awarded $2500 for hurt and humiliation.
When the Waitemata Rugby Club in Henderson noticed a dip in bar takings in 2009 it used a private investigator to check on Louise Marsters.
James Wilson of the Employment Relations Authority said the club did not undertake a full and fair investigation before sacking Marsters.
However some of her actions, while well-meaning, were "sloppy."
