Police are calling for stricter alcohol controls after 22 arrests and 90 evictions at the one-day international cricket match between Australia and New Zealand at Jade Stadium, Christchurch, on Saturday.
Senior Sergeant Peter Cooper said police were having too much input at games. "We don't want to be the entertainment. We would like to see the entertainment on the field."
