A 21 year-old woman has handed herself into Auckland police after a hit and run that left a man with serious injuries on Sunday morning.
In a statement from police it said the woman presented herself to police last night after the incident in Grey Lynn early Sunday morning.
"Her car has been seized for examination by officers investigating the incident which left a 24 year-old man with serious injuries on Great North Road shortly after 3.30am yesterday," the statement said.
The investigation was ongoing and no charges or arrests have been made.
The victim was in a stable condition in Auckland Hospital this morning.
