Images of the 2015 Subaru Legacy have been leaked online ahead of the cars official debut at this month's Chicago Auto Show.
While not the spitting image of the Legacy Concept first shown during last year's LA Auto Show - which is not really surprising - the sixth generation of Subaru's long lived Legacy shares more styling cues with the new
Being part of Subaru's new design language, the Legacy gets an extended nose, chiseled front spoiler and slimmer looking headlights distinguish it from previous models. Round the back, a more rounded rear holds wrap-around tail lights, sloped deck lid and pronounced buttresses.
A new look interior has a modern ambiance to it and shows a unique multi-function steering wheel and updated fascia and infotainment system. It is too early to mention power and performance figures but it is likely the same 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre boxer engines used in the Impreza will make and appearance.
The next generation Subaru EyeSight vehicle safety system is expected to feature as well. More will be revealed after the cars debut at Chicago this week.
