Dates have been confirmed for Wairarapa's Kokomai Creative Festival, taking place from October 16 to 25. The opening event will be a special performance by students from the New Zealand School of Dance on Friday, October 16.
This year's festival follows the success of the inaugural festival in 2013 which saw over 5000 people enjoy a range of national and international acts as well as quality events that showcased talented people within the Wairarapa.
Kokomai festival director Heidi Holbrook says the 2015 programme will again have wide appeal, reflecting the Wairarapa's vibrant and sophisticated community that supports the arts.
"We have some world-class national and international shows coming and exciting local events for the whole community to get involved with," she says. "The aim is to provide a range of events which appeal to diverse interests and budgets."
