$1m up for grabs in Herald birthday competition

Next Thursday the Herald celebrates its 140th birthday, and to mark this milestone we are offering readers the chance to win $1 million.

The big prize is on offer through a game card that will be inserted in the print edition of the Herald on Thursday, with numbers published over the next fortnight.

Readers whose numbers come up can enter the draw for a possible $1 million payout. There will also be instant cash prizes during the two weeks.

The birthday edition of the Herald paper will include an 88-page pictorial tabloid of New Zealand over the 140 years and a four-page wraparound looking at the news from our founding in 1863 to today.
