KEY POINTS:
About 18 people were rescued in Auckland Harbour last night after a boat collided with a barge. It happened under the Auckland Harbour Bridge about nine o'clock.
The partygoers were rescued after the boat they were on started taking on water. No injuries have been reported.
Maritime New Zealand will be investigating.
