University of Otago humanities graduate John Dennison has topped the country by gaining a $169,470 Top Achiever Doctoral Fellowship in the Tertiary Education Commission's latest scholarship funding round.
Mr Dennison, 28, will use the scholarship to study the works of award-winning Irish poet Seamus Heaney, at St Andrews University, Scotland.
