A 160-home development has been given the go-ahead for the centre of Christchurch.
More than four hectares of land in St Albans will be redeveloped into terrace housing, apartments, 15 small shops and a small supermarket.
The Christchurch City Council's regulatory and planning committee has today approved the plan and will put it out for public feedback within the next two months.
