The owner of a winning Big Wednesday Lotto ticket is yet to come forward to collect their prize of over $12 million.
The winning ticket was sold at the St Luke's branch of Whitcoull's in Auckland, a first for the store according to one staff member who didn't want to be named.
"The staff are all pretty excited, we've had a few customers congratulate us too."
However she said for the most part it was business as usual in store today as they waited for the winner to make themselves known.
"We have no idea who it could be, we're looking forward to finding out."
