A man has been convicted and fined after sexually assaulting a female cabin attendant while on a flight from New Zealand.
Brian Gabriel appeared in the Samoan District Court in Apia, last week where he pleaded guilty to indecent assault.
He was convicted and fined $1200.
A police summary of facts said Gabriel was intoxicated on board a Polynesian Blue flight from Auckland bound for Samoa when he grabbed a female flight attendant and performed sexual acts on her neck, the Samoa Observer reported.
