People suffering from chronic respiratory disease will be able to breathe easier from Sunday with greater access to medication.
Pharmac says it is investing almost $10 million over the next five years to make the drug tiotropium (Spiriva) available to more people.
This means more people with diseases such as chronic bronchitis and emphysema will have access to the drug.
