Someone in the small West Coast town of Reefton could soon be living "the ultimate lifestyle" after winning $10.6 million in cash and prizes.
The winner has not yet come forward and claimed last night's Big Wednesday prize of $8,908,793 cash, an Audi R8, a Porsche Cayenne, a $250,000 Visa Platinum card, a $250,000 cash for travel, $750,000 for a holiday home and a boat.
The winning ticket was sold at Gizmos on Broadway and was the store's first major prize since becoming a Lotto retailer in May.
Gizmos owner Sandi Braden, who runs the store with husband, said she felt privileged to have sold the ticket.
"(I) feel like I've won! I'm so excited for the winners," she said.
NZ Lotteries' chief executive Todd McLeay said anyone who purchased a ticket at the store should check it immediately.
Reefton, 79km north east of Greymouth, has a population of about 1000.
