A 1-year-old boy was flown to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries after falling from the balcony of a house in Frankton Rd yesterday.
St John Central Otago-Southland Lakes territory manager Kelvin Perriman said paramedics were called to the house about 11.20am.
The boy was initially taken to Lakes District Hospital,
where his condition was assessed as serious but stable, Mr Perriman said.
A Wellington-based police media adviser said she could not provide any information about the incident as police did not attend it.
Queenstown police could not be reached for comment.
