The man arrested over the armed stand-off in Palmerston North has appeared in court this morning.
Caleb Peter Kovaleski, 25, is facing four new charges over the incident. They are using a firearm against a police officer, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and failing to stop for police.
Kovaleski is also charged with breaching bail on June 23, and stealing a Ford Courier Ute from Feilding on May 20.
He made a brief appearance in Palmerston North District Court this morning where he was represented by court-appointed counsel Penelope Walker.
