Zambesi sets up new store

Good news for Ponsonby fashionistas - Zambesi is moving into the neighbourhood.

Followers of fashion will be pleased that Zambesi is set to open a shop on Ponsonby's strip in the old Masala site.

"We have a great store in the city and Newmarket does well, but there are a lot of people in Ponsonby who don't necessarily access those areas as frequently as they would wander up and down Ponsonby Rd," says designer Elisabeth Findlay. "It has a really great feel and I love the area. We really love SPQR and it's just over the road."

The aim is to open at 169 Ponsonby Rd on September 1.
