Feeling dogged by news of one of the world's most famous families this year? Get ready for one more story.
A cheeky Trade Me Listing is offering Kiwis the chance to adopt a member of the Kardashian family - sort of.
Puppies bearing the name of the famous family are up for adoption on Trade Me's website for $280 each.
Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, Kendall, Rob, Lamar and Scott are seven-week-old staffordshire bull terriers that were listed by no-kill shelter HUHA (Helping You Help Animals) on December 23.
They will be ready to be picked up by any new owners by mid-January.
The post had 1600 likes at the time of writing and dozens of comments.
Many commenting said they'd love to adopt one of the pups.
"God that's funny lol," one person said.
"Omg... I've suddenly realized my TRUE dream in life is to own dogs all named after the kardashians [sic]," wrote another.
However there were a few sly digs in the comments section too.
"I like how Khloe is the one that looks different," said one Cool Dog Group member.
An ongoing plot line in the family's reality TV show follows Khloe Kardashian trying to discover whether she had the same parents as her siblings Kim and Kourtney.
A maternity test showed Kris Jenner was her mother, but rumours about her paternity continue to pop up.
"Where are Blac Chyna and Dream? Oh wait....," reads another comment.
Rob Kardashian's partner Blac Chyna recently left him, taking their infant daughter Dream with her.
HUHA is a no-kill shelter in Otaki, north of Wellington, that takes on a variety of homeless, abandoned, seized and abused animals.
According to its website the charitable trust is "dedicated to teaching empathy to the community and providing shelter for those less fortunate animals that struggle to survive."
