X-Files star Gillian Anderson  marries

X-Files star Gillian Anderson, 36, has taken the plunge.

Her rep has confirmed that the actress wed longtime boyfriend, photojournalist and documentary film-maker Julian Ozanne, 42, on December 29 in Kenya.

The lush, but small ceremony on Lamu Island, off Kenya's coast, which included hymns sung by a Kenyan choir in Swahili, was attended by close friends and family.

Anderson's 10-year-old daughter Piper, from her first marriage to movie art director Clyde Klotz, was bridesmaid.
