Auckland's Wynyard Quarter has won a top landscape architecture award.
The 2013 New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects Pride of Place Awards have been announced.
The firm Boffa Miskell has won the Resene Colour Award of Excellence for their project which used different coloured stripes on the ground to map the way to Wynyard Quarter.
Lead judge Renee Davis said the project illustrates how a fun and innovative use of colour can uplift a public space.
