A master sushi chef has ditched the traditional rice and nori in favour of burger ingredients to turn into a sushi roll.
Chef Hiroyuki Terada of NoVe Kitchen and Bar in Miami took on a challenge to turn a Big Mac into sushi and documented his efforts which were shared on Facebook.
His first step was to dismantle the McDonald's burger, separating the bread, meat, cheese, lettuce and sauce.
Then he sliced the buns in half and cut up the filling. He also added avocado, parsley and McDonald's fries and drizzled barbecue sauce and mayonnaise on the finished roll.
The video has been viewed over 700,000 times on Facebook with mixed reactions.
While some commented that they loved the concept and wanted to try it, others weren't impressed.
Morgan Gingles said: "This is gross. I doubt anyone respectable still calls him a sushi master...disgraceful take on an art form".
While Jeroen Hadaya said: "...not sure if uograding mcdo or downgrading sushi".
