It's one of the most disgusting, fascinating trends to pop up in recent times: the internet's obsession with watching pimples being squeezed.

So popular is the hideous habit it's brought fame and fortune to professional spot busters such as Dr Pimple Popper, whose videos have become viral sensations.

But just when you thought things couldn't get grosser, someone decided to go ahead and add the idea of edible puss to the mix - because how else can a cake company from Kuala Lumpur cash in on the pimple hashtag?

Alas, we regret to inform you that The Cakescape has unleashed acne plagued "Evelyn" on the world, her face a mess of fondant-spurting spots you can squeeze and eat.

Before you attempt to comfort yourself with the notion that Evelyn's edible zits only exist on Instagram, according to Mashable Asia, The Cakescape has sold about 20 cakes this year with the pace of orders reportedly increasing.
