A loved-up girlfriend's public proposal to her partner went horribly wrong after she was left heartbroken sitting in the street alone.
In dramatic scenes the raven-haired woman holds a ring up to her partner in Santiago, Chile.
Her boyfriend, dressed in jeans and a black jacket, stares at her as she can be heard saying "are you going to marry me? yes or no" in Spanish, reports the Daily Mail.
"Yes my love and stop there" the man says as he bends down to talk to his partner.
The boyfriend is visibly embarrassed at the public declaration of love, although he accepted the proposal it can be heard in the video.
Is it thought that the girlfriend, wearing a red jacket wanted a more enthusiastic acceptance from her shy partner.
The video ends with the boyfriend collecting his belongings and leaving her sitting on the pavement helplessly, as crowds gather.
It is not known if the couple reconciled after.
