Woman who gave birth in supermarket didn't know she was pregnant

Imagine going in to the supermarket to do your weekly shop and leaving with a newborn baby.

For Canadian woman Ashleigh Miller-Cross, who didn't even know she was pregnant, this bizarre scenario unfolded in an Atlantic Superstore in April.

As she made her way around the aisles, Miller-Cross began to experience intense stomach pains, so headed to the nearest in store bathroom.

The store's assistant manager heard her screams and rushed to her aid.

Luckily there happened to be a doctor in store who assisted with the delivery of baby Ezra.

After getting over the shock of an unexpected baby delivered in a supermarket, the new mum decided to celebrate her surprise with a supermarket-themed photoshoot of her little one.

Branches Photography created the images using a shopping basket as a crib and baby Ezra looked right at home, nestled among fruit, milk, eggs and other items on Mum's shopping list.
