Molly, who hash-tagged the post 'firstdatefail', was forced to record another clip after it clocked more than 4.3 million views and thousands of comments from people wanting to know what happened next.
"So I did not expect that video to blow up the way that it did, but here is the rest of the screenshot."
Molly said she was parking her car when she received his messages, adding that while she was left baffled at first, she immediately started to drive away when she realised what was happening.
"Omg I was joking with a buddy I'm just going to leave," the man said in another text with two facepalm emojis.
"What? Am I the c***?" she asked, to which he responded: "Omg I don't really think that at all I joke too much I say s*** like that just to say it."
"I completely understand if this is over," he continued.
Molly, who is a social worker, agreed that their relationship was over before it had even started, telling the man she wasn't "comfortable meeting anymore".
"I just don't really feel like it's okay to call women that even as a joke and I kind of see it as a red flag sorry!"
The man continued to send several grovelling apologies, repeatedly telling her how "sorry" he was.
"I'm sick to my stomach just thinking about it, is it God's plan I guess. I was so excited to see you I was just trying to be funny with Joe omg," he said.
Molly told him not to dwell on it and understood it was a mistake, before telling viewers she probably should have just ignored him.
"I did finally just ignore him when he was not getting the message," she said.
