A woman who claims to have married a ghost has stunned Loose Women viewers by claiming they had a pregnancy scare.
Amanda Teague, 45, from Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, appeared on the ITV daytime show on Wednesday where she claimed to be married to a spirit called Jack.
According to the Daily Mail, she says that the ghost told her he was a Haitain pirate who died in the 18th century who is black with jet black hair, though she has never seen him.
The pair go on dates together and she even buys him glasses of rum that he is unable to drink as a sign of 'respect'.
Viewers were left baffled by the unusual interview, with one asking: "What the f*** am I watching?!"
Amanda, who works as a Jack Sparrow impersonator, married her spirit lover back in 2016, but had to have their nuptials in international waters as the wedding wouldn't be considered legal.
On Loose Women she revealed how she missed a period, which her GP said could only be pregnancy.
Amanda explained: "I missed a month and I went to my GP sand she said you've got be pregnant and I was like no I can' be. On further examination I insisted to get blood tests done and it.
"I did speak to Jack about it and he said obviously it's not possible for a spirit to biologically have a child with a human being so I'm quite safe."
Her admission stunned viewers, who took to Twitter to question how she could be married to a ghost.
One tweeted: "She had a pregnancy scare with a ghost oh dear Lord lock her up."
"I'm starting to think this woman is deliberately taking the p*** out of the Loose Women," another posted.
A third said: "What in all fresh hell am I listening to?"
Amanda's romance with Jack started in 2014 when she felt his presence, and eventually, the pair began talking and got to know each other.
Two years after they first met, the couple got engaged because she didn't want to have "casual sex" with a ghost.
The unlikely pair sailed a boat away from Ireland into international waters so that the marriage would be legal.
Amanda previously said that sex with a ghost is similar to sleeping with humans, and she can feel the "pressure" when Jack touches her though she cannot see his face or body.
She revealed: "You can feel the weight of the spirit, their touch, the pressure.
"You can literally feel the physical act of what the spirit is doing to you, and the spirit can feel it too."
The couple's wedding rings incorporated brass, which is Jack's favourite metal, and white-gold, which is Amanda's.
Because Jack cannot wear his ring, it has been fitted to a candle which was used in the wedding ceremony to represent him.
After the wedding, the couple bought their first home together, and even though Jack couldn't contribute financially, he helped pick the new house and had an input with the interior design.
Amanda has even got tattoos like the drunken sailor, and got pirate-style dreadlocks and gold-plated teeth in a bid to mimic the character. She set up her impersonator business off the back of the look.
