Winona Ryder is relishing growing older, insisting she is looking forward to having wrinkles.
The actress was one of the hottest young stars in Hollywood during the 1980s and 90s, making her movie debut aged 15.
She went on to define her generation with roles in Heathers, Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands, but is adamant she is not desperate to hold on to her youth.
"I love getting older," Ryder, 41, tells Britain's Radio Times.
"And I was really excited to turn 40. I feel like the older you get, the more yourself you become, and I think the roles, even if they are smaller, are more interesting.
