Winona prepares for big-screen return

Actress Winona Ryder is getting her career back on track, having signed on to star with British actor Joseph Fiennes in romantic comedy The Darwin Awards, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The title refers to an award bestowed upon those who die or maim themselves in acts of extreme stupidity.

It is Ryder's second film in as many months.
