Bruce Willis has sued the producers of his film Tears of the Sun, claiming he experienced physical and mental injuries, caused by their negligence.
The film, which also stars Monica Bellucci as a US doctor, has Willis, 49, as a US military commando in Nigeria, charged with rescuing the doctor from rebels.
In the lawsuit filed against Revolution Studios, the macho star claimed "extreme mental, physical and emotional pain and suffering", caused by special effects used to simulate combat during film production.
The studio did not respond to a request for comment on the lawsuit.
