Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio is launching her own fashion label.
The Brazilian has teamed up with American label Cherokee to create her Ale by Alessandra range, which will feature a collection of casual and formal wear for women.
The Victoria's Secret star says she will still strut her stuff on the runway, but will be concentrating on the business side of the fashion industry in the future.
"This is not a hobby for me,'' she told WWD.
"I've been a fashion model for 15 years and designing is just an extension of my career. I still plan on modelling lingerie, but at the same time this is a business transition that I plan to have around for a long time.
