Ted x Auckland is back again with local visionaries and storytellers showcasing their big ideas. Speakers include Dr. Siouxsie Wiles, Shaun Hendy, Max Cryer, Sir Bob Harvey, Billie Jordan and Tama Iti.

5. Eat eat eat
The Coffee and Chocolate Show is back with sweet treats, music and plenty of those good brown things. Across town, there's the sweetly low-fi Swiss market (surely more of that fine brown stuff, it is the home of chocolate after all), plus cheeses, gingerbreads, sausages, possibly even a St Bernard or two.
