We've handpicked five things to do around Auckland this weekend.
1. It's a gas
If you're still needing the adrenalin of last weekend, you can have another Aus vs NZ clash at the ITM 500 Auckland V8 Supercars at Pukekohe. There's serious sprint action in motorsport racing plus there's family entertainment, a fan trail and more.
If you're not heading to Hawkes Bay for their legendary FAWC food and wine classic, you can make do with food glorious food at Taste of Auckland, this year spreading out at Western Springs. The celebration of restaurants includes great tasting dishes from the likes of Bracu, Miss Clawdy and Depot, alongside a stellar line-up of craft brewers and boutique wines, cooking demonstrations and even a hangi.
Today and tomorrow. Western Springs.
3. To market
The Little Big Markets at Victoria Park - one of the city's originals - re-launches today with original crafts from New Zealand and around the world. It's the perfect platform for designers, artists, artisans and foodies to showcase their talents.
Today (and every Saturday), 9am-2pm. Victoria Park Market.
4. On your bike
Jump across the fence from Taste Auckland for Bikes, blues and barbecues to get your fill of motorbikes - over 80, from six Auckland clubs - plus The Flaming Mudcats blues band will entertain and there will be a barbecue lunch.
At this time of year, it's hard to beat the old-fashioned charms of an A&P Show. This one at Clevedon's a goodie, with traditional equestrian events, plenty of animals, highland dancing, sheep shearing, wood carving, cooking demonstrations, refreshments and more. If you're there on Sunday, don't forget to zoom across to the farmers' market to stock up on fresh produce for the week (Sunday, 8.30am - 1pm).
Today and tomorrow, 9am-5pm. Clevedon A&P Showgrounds.
