The celebration of restaurants includes great tasting dishes from the likes of Bracu, Miss Clawdy and Depot, alongside a stellar line-up of craft brewers and boutique wines, cooking demonstrations and even a hangi.

At this time of year, it's hard to beat the old-fashioned charms of an A&P Show. This one at Clevedon's a goodie, with traditional equestrian events, plenty of animals, highland dancing, sheep shearing, wood carving, cooking demonstrations, refreshments and more. If you're there on Sunday, don't forget to zoom across to the farmers' market to stock up on fresh produce for the week (Sunday, 8.30am - 1pm).
