A strange and somewhat hilarious exchange involving a Wellington man selling a cupboard on Facebook has gone viral.
James Howes shared in a Facebook group Vic Deals the bizarre conversation he had with a potential buyer, Ashlyn Greenway, captioning the post "People these days."
After going through all the effortto answer her questions, he ended up selling it to someone else, and she was not happy about it.
The exchange started off as innocent, with her asking for the price and dimensions of the cupboard.
Howes then eggs her on to "go for it", which makes her even madder.

Many on Facebook commented saying she was an "idiot" for not knowing how to use Google to covert to inches.
"I thought it was common sense to Google something you don't understand," one person wrote.
Another added: We live in New Zealand we use the metric system. If you use the imperial system over here it's time to adapt."
Others said she was "psychotic" and "crazy" for the way she reacted, however some pointed out that she could be a troll using a fake account and photo.
"It looks like her account is fake and she's trolling you. Both her profile and header pic are fake - you can do a reverse Google image search and they both pop up on stock image websites," one person wrote.
